BODYMED ANALOG EMS UNIT
Electrical stimulation is a core physical therapy modality — pain modulation, muscle re-education, and recruitment in an inhibited muscle. Used for NMES to re-educate an inhibited quad post-op, or TENS for pain control so the patient can tolerate therapeutic exercise. An analog electrical muscle stimulator with two controllable output channels and three modes: synchronous, constant and alternation. Intensity is adjustable from 0 to 80 mA per channel. Pulse width is fixed at 250 µs, and pulse rate is adjustable from 2 to 120 Hz. On-ramp is adjustable from 1 to 8 seconds, and cycle on and off times from 1 to 30 seconds. The timer offers 30 minutes, 60 minutes or continuous. Includes the unit, lead wires, 4 BodyMed® electrodes, a 9 V battery, a hard plastic carrying case and the manual. One-year warranty on the unit.
