Electrical stimulation is a core physical therapy modality — pain modulation, muscle re-education, and recruitment in an inhibited muscle. Used for NMES to re-educate an inhibited quad post-op, or TENS for pain control so the patient can tolerate therapeutic exercise. BodyMed 2″ x 2″ fabric-backed self-adhesive electrodes for TENS and EMS units, sold by the case of 520 (8 boxes of 65). The adhesive gel layer allows multiple uses per electrode: after treatment, return the electrode to its plastic liner for later use.
