Electrical stimulation is a core physical therapy modality — pain modulation, muscle re-education, and recruitment in an inhibited muscle. Used for NMES to re-educate an inhibited quad post-op, or TENS for pain control so the patient can tolerate therapeutic exercise. BodyMed® Butterfly Foam-Back Carbon Electrode, 4" x 6" butterfly, sold individually (also available as a 1.5" x 13" rectangle, NPP611). Foam-backed carbon electrode with an adhesive gel layer for easy application; flexible, so it adheres to most treatment areas. For use with TENS and EMS units. Each electrode allows multiple uses: peel it from the plastic liner, apply it, and return it to the liner after treatment. Latex-free.
