Electrical stimulation is a core physical therapy modality — pain modulation, muscle re-education, and recruitment in an inhibited muscle. Used for NMES to re-educate an inhibited quad post-op, or TENS for pain control so the patient can tolerate therapeutic exercise. PALS® neurostimulation electrodes use Axelgaard's patented stainless-steel knit fabric design, which stays flexible and conforms to any body surface. The design is paired with Axelgaard's patented multi-layer MultiStick® hydrogel and spreads current evenly to eliminate stinging, edge biting and hot spots. Designed for multiple applications.
